Every year our local fire department holds their fair
to raise money to support the fire department.  Years ago it started out a small carnival and has evolved into what is called the Northeast Fair, which is also an agricultural fair sponsored  partly by the 4H Club.  It's something special for our area and these are pictures taken on the first night.  There is a lot of food stands along with a lot of rides for young children and older ones and free entertainment nightly.   Some include Shawn Klush; an Elvis impersonator and a group called Beatlemania; both are excellent.  I also heard that the Food Network people are going to be there on Friday night, the 20th.  Hope you can make it and support the Pittston Township Volunteer Fire Department.
