This is a great dessert for the summer, there is no baking required.
It's light and my family eats the whole bowl at one sitting.
Pound Cake with Vanilla Cream and Strawberries
3 6oz. containers of fat free plain or vanilla yogurt
1 4-serving size package of instant vanilla pudding
1 8oz. container of low fat whipped dessert topping, thawed
1 regular size pound cake, sliced and broken
Fresh Strawberries
1. In medium bowl, whisk together yogurt and one fourth of the pudding mix until smooth. Gradually add remaining pudding mix to yogurt, whisking until smooth after each addition. Fold in whipped topping half at a time.
2. Layer the pound cake pieces, cream and strawberries and then repeat layers till all used ending with cake and strawberries. Dust top with powdered sugar and refrigerate till ready to use. Refrigerate leftovers.
