Happenings; Britney's 20th Birthday

Copyright by The Old School Housewife
On October 16th 1994 a girl child was born.  October 16th 2014 a woman is formed from that child.  Our beautiful Britney will no longer be a teenager on the 16th even though we celebrated her birthday today.  Her grandfather and I couldn't be more proud and couldn't love her anymore.  Happy Birthday Britney!

Dessert; Britney's Fall Cookies

Would you believe these are cookies?  My granddaughter, Britney made them.  I think they look a little like stained glass.  I can't give you the recipe though because she won't give it up. lol  She said it's her secret.   She's becoming a really good baker.

Grandchildren; Olivia's Fall tree

Copyright by The Old School Housewife
I found this picture in a drawer last week.  My granddaughter, Olivia made it when she was in pre-school.  I know because I marked it.  I think it's very pretty, I'm glad I saved it.  I still have some art work that my daughters made when they were in grade school.  That was a long time ago.  Art like that is precious.
